The Kelly Spicers team is filled with people who love what they do. In the warehouse, on the road making deliveries, or in one of our eight regional offices across the West, our people are dedicated to our customers, our suppliers – and each other.

Makenna Sheerer

BUSINESS PROCESS LEADER

Makenna joined the team in 2019 as a Sales Operations Trainee in our Anaheim store, working directly with customers and building a strong foundation in the business. From there, she expanded her experience across merchandising, social media, and digital marketing, eventually stepping into the role of Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Manager.

Today, as a Business Process Leader, Makenna partners with teams across the organization to drive process improvements and lead initiatives focused on customer sell pricing, vendor rebates, and business analytics platforms like Rubber Tree and Phocas. Outside of work, you can find Makenna exploring new places, spending time near the water, and enjoying the outdoors with family and friends.

Makenna’s journey is a testament to the culture at Kelly Spicers, where curiosity, growth, and continuous improvement are encouraged and celebrated.

Martha & Rudy

NATIONAL CREDIT MANAGER & MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

Martha’s 39-year journey has taken her from cash posting to National Credit Manager, leading with relationship-building, teamwork, and heart. Inspired by the culture she helped shape, Rudy began helping with AP digitization as a teen and has grown into his role as a Management Accountant, where he brings insight and curiosity to every project.

One of their favorite parts of working together? Carpooling—those everyday drives filled with learning, mentorship, and connection.

We’re proud to celebrate Martha and Rudy, a mother-son duo whose legacy reflects the true spirit of Kelly Spicers.

Randy Thompson

WAREHOUSE & FLEET OPERATIONS

Randy has been a part of our team for 31 years in a variety of roles surrounding warehouse and fleet operations like driving, vehicle maintenance, route planning, and supply ordering. His unique background as a world-travelled Marine and problem-solving attitude make him a valuable asset to the team members and customers he serves every day. Outside of work, you can find Randy jamming out to 80's classic rock with his wife, 4 children, and 2 grandchildren.

WAREHOUSE & DISTRIBUTION TEAM

Meet the 5-man crew that makes up the “Safest Little Warehouse in the West!” Our Las Vegas Warehouse and Distribution Center is responsible for cross docking daily shipments from City of Industry and Santa Fe Springs, delivering product to Kelly Spicers Stores, and most importantly, delivering orders to our Las Vegas customer base. They live and breathe safety every day, and recently celebrated 10 years injury-free! Congratulations to our Las Vegas crew, we are incredibly lucky to have you on the Kelly Spicers team.

Sean Diamond

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF FACILITIES SOLUTIONS

Sean brings 27 years of leadership experience in the cleaning, janitorial, and facilities solutions industry, with a proven track record of building high-performing teams and driving growth across the West Coast. In this role, he will lead the continued expansion of our Facilities Solutions business and join the Kelly Spicers Leadership Team.

Throughout his career, Sean has been recognized for building high-performing teams, developing talent, and establishing strong, trust-based customer and vendor partnerships that deliver meaningful business results.

Joe Jimenez

PACKAGING SOLUTION SPECIALIST

“I’ve been with the company 4 years now. I am part of the Packaging Category Team and my current role is Packaging Sourcing Specialist. To keep it simple, I assist with sourcing very simple to very complex packaging product and solutions for various packaging opportunities that the Kelly Spicers team brings to me. One of my motivations with loving what I do is helping our customers, my team members and the feeling of accomplishment that I get knowing that I helped gain a new piece business for our company. I love taking business from our competitor. On my free time, I enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, dirt bike riding or just hanging out with my family doing whatever.”

Lawrence Covitt

PRESIDENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES

With more than 20 years of experience in HR, leadership, and talent development across luxury design, hospitality, and retail, Lawrence is focused on building inclusive cultures and developing high-performing teams.

Previously SVP of Talent & HR at Stark Carpet, a global leader in luxury flooring and design, and a longtime leader at Bloomingdale’s, he brings a people-first philosophy rooted in the belief that a strong employee experience drives a great customer experience. He’s also served as an Adjunct Professor at FIT and a visiting professor abroad, reflecting his commitment to mentorship and education. Outside of work, Lawrence enjoys golf, fitness, travel, cooking, and giving back to the community.
